 I
am an aspiring writer and generally creative person who has
a penchant for finding ways to waste my spare time. One of
these days I'll design a website that is entirely for the
purpose of sharing ways to accomplish absolutely nothing. I
am married to an absolutely wonderful man, Ramon, who puts
up with me no matter what. He is a gem and I'm sorry, women,
he's taken. A registered nurse, he wastes his time with
sports, politics, and a fanatical love of aerospace
technology. Ramon and I have two children, Chelsea, 9, and
Sierra, 7. Both of them are gifted with far more artistic
talent than either of their parents, but did inherit our
love of science and our infernal curiosity. In other words,
they love to make messes. I love animals and there are
several members of our family who walk on four feet,
including our dog Nala, a chow-pom mix, our cats Kenya,
Phoebe, Hyuga, Cinder, and Bart, a bearded dragon named
Spike, and our turtles Justin (a Malaysian box-turtle) and
Sheela (a Russian tortoise). On eight legs are my two hermit
crabs, Sebastian and Ariel. I have several other sites on
the web. Go to The
Madhouse for the gateway to my other worlds, including
Cry of
the Celts, Cool
Mac, My
Shadow in Vain, CyberPunk
Central, and the Madhouse
Book and Music Store. You can even find my incredibly
verbose personal
page. I made my dad's website as well, so if you want
to, visit Thunderwolf,
Inc.

 Ramon
is not the only sports fan in the family either. I am a
rabid fan of hockey and football, rooting for the Red Wings
and the Niners respectively. Other sports I glue myself to
when I get the chance are figure skating, lacrosse,
supercross, speedway, and hurling. I love reading and of
course, my favorite books are those of the Dragonlance
series. Beyond that my favorite author is Peter F. Hamilton,
who can create incredible views of the future much like C.S.
Lewis and Isaac Asimov managed in their day. My friend Evil
Drew has hooked me on Terry Pratchett recently. My favorite
book of all time is Catch-22. My musical interests can only
be described as eclectic. I am an eternal fan of Gary Numan
and Jethro Tull, love Celtic music, enjoy classical, jazz,
and rock. Barenaked Ladies is quickly becoming an obsession.
Live is constantly in my cd player, and those of us who
roleplay the characters of Xenogears in Yggdrasil are
convinced they're actually the Re-Elements in disguise. My
educational background is in biochemistry and physical
anthropology, but all sciences interest me. My absolute
favorite of the hard sciences is physics, which is such an
integral part of explaining almost every aspect of our
world. Isaac Newton is my hero.
